Yeah AT&T asked to revert back to EDGE, rebranded as 4G.

The AT&T network can't push full 3G most of the time.

There's a difference between a "fourth generation" iPhone and a 4G network. Nothing in the article remotely suggests the latter, and everyone should have assumed Apple's already working on it's next (4th gen) phone.
