Make sure to check and make sure your alarm works along with the timezone change.
Some guy here went abroad and the alarm didn't sync like the clock did. He had to do a reset, so I would do one if I were you. @ Nyhde: How will it be expensive if he's roaming? Roaming's free. |

China has CDMA & GSM, but they also have CDMA phones in China with a SIMS type card, like GSM phones. It's different over there.

It's free roaming only in the US. In other countries that have CDMA, you have to pay an international fee as well as a per minute charge which is usually over $2 a minute.

+80% of cell phone users are GSM. I did think the CDMA phones in Asia with the SIMS type chip were interesting. They won't sell them in the states because each CDMA carrier wants you to buy their phone.

I turned the pre on, it just works!
Sprint send me sms instantly, let me know with a plan, it will be cheaper. On the aspect of battery, I can play 6 soduku before kills my ipodtouch. But I can play 40 soduku on my pre with a single charge. My pre takes more pictures much faster than my old coolpix 430 with a single charge. That's over 200 pics. Free wifi spots are few though paid wifi spots everywhere. |

No way it will be free. International roaming is very expensive for all carriers. Sprint's free roaming is limited within US, I think. |

Just don't end up like Adam Savage from Mythbusters with an $11,000 bill for using 750 megabytes of data transfer while he was in Canada...
MythBuster uses Twitter to fight $11,000 phone bill Thats $0.015 per kilobyte for roaming in Canada on AT&T, not sure what Sprint is. |
