Palm is trying to make it easier to develop apps, enticing new developers.
Palm: Free Apps For The Web, Free Development For Open Source, And Free Phones!

Does this mean that Slingbox, Skype and others will experience smooth sailing into the Palm WebOS App Catalog? Let's hope so. This can only be a good thing. Paid apps have finally arrived, and soon we'll be one of the first to experience Mobile Flash!!! I love this f*!kin' phone!

The $50 "friction point" will weed out a lot of the garbage. I think it's a good move.

Now, this is a GREAT news. Im very glad and support this developement, this will be the most important thing to separate palm and android/iphone, on top of the webos and phone itself.

now, remove the app installation limit plz.
